Microsoft Reporting Services Quick Start
Objective:This three day instructor-led course provides students with the knowledge and skills to implement reporting solutions using Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Reporting Services. Students will leave the course with a good understanding of how to apply Reporting Services to problems within a business context.
Duration:This is a 3 day instructor-led course.
Who should attend?This course is intended for all types of reporting users including server and content managers, designers, and developers who are responsible for the design and administration of report solutions. Days 1 and 2 focus on Reporting content, while Day 3 offers a more in depth view of Reporting Services Administration. Before attending this course, students should have:
- an understanding of basic relational database concepts.
- experience with Microsoft Windows 2000 and Microsoft Visual Studio.
Some knowledge of the following is helpful:
- Microsoft SQL Server 2000.
- Basic Transact-SQL syntax.
- Microsoft Visual Basic.
- Windows Script programming principles.
- Basic XML.
